Prince William releases rare interview ahead of Villa match | Royal | News

Prince William gave a lengthy interview minutes before his favourite football team, Aston Villa, faced PSG in a key Champions League quarter-final match. The Prince of Wales, who publicly declared his love for Villa several years ago, spoke to TNT Sport ahead of the match.

Taking to X, fans appeared impressed by the royal's knowledge, with one fan commenting, "Very impressive knowledge! Also he comes across as a really nice guy!"

Another commented that William "knew his stuff", whilst another fan wrote, "he's actually quite good [to be fair] [cry-laughing face]."

A fourth fan, also impressed, commented: "He spoke exceptionally well! What a lad."

Agreeing with fellow fans, one fan even jokingly commented that they should have William commentating every week. They shared, "Get the guy commentating each week [cry-laughing face]."
