Emergency services rush to 'abandoned building' in busy town centre | UK | News

Emergency responders descended on a busy street in Bolton town centre after a blaze erupted at a vacant building. Firefighters, police, and paramedics were at the scene on Bradshawgate, where a cordon was established and multiple fire engines present. Photographs from the area showed several buses halted near the emergency response location, and a ladder was apparently used by the fire department to combat the flames at a property.

At least one ambulance attended, and Greater Manchester Police officers were on site, reported the Manchester Evening News. According to a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, six fire engines responded to reports of a building fire on Bradshawgate in Bolton shortly before 9am this morning (Monday, March 31).
