TikToker Aleyshia May, who boasts more than 29,000 followers on the video-sharing app, has been posting useful cleaning and lifestyle hacks for parents and other busy people to achieve a tidier home. 

She has unveiled the 'best hack' for preventing that musty laundry smell, keeping your clothes and towels smelling fresh for weeks on end. 

And even better, you only need one cleaning cupboard staple to do it. 

According to Aleyshia, all you need to do for fresh-smelling clothes is grab some laundry scent boosters and pop some in a few small mesh bags. 

You can choose your favourite scent depending on what you want your clothes to smell like, and fill up as many bags as you want. Then, place them in your drawers, wardrobe or anywhere else you store clothes. 

The scent boosters will ensure your laundry continues to smell gorgeous even when it's no longer freshly washed. 

She said: "The smell lasts so long and leaves clothes smelling freshly washed."
