Mortal Kombat 1 double discount lets you play as T-1000 from Terminator today | Gaming | Entertainment

Mortal Kombat 1 developer NetherRealm has released a brand new guest character as part of the Khaos Reigns expansion.

The T-1000 from Terminator 2 is the latest character available as DLC, although it's currently only available for Khaos Reigns owners.

Fortunately, you can currently take advantage of a double discount for the expansion on PlayStation.

Indeed, at the time of writing, the Mortal Kombat 1 Khaos Reigns Kollection is reduced to just £24.74 on PS5.

The package contains the base Mortal Kombat 1 game, as well as the original Kombat Pack, Khaos Reigns story expansion, Kombat Pack 2 and a Johnny Cage skin.

If you already own the base game, you can grab the Khaos Reigns expansion for the reduced price of £13.19 until March 26.

You can save even more money by purchasing PlayStation Store credit from CD Keys (above).

After purchasing a top-up card from CD Keys, the retailer will send you a link with the code that can redeemed on the PlayStation Store.

Once you've added the credit to your PlayStation account, you can pick up the already discounted Khaos Reigns expansion for even less.

Speaking of PlayStation Store credit, it's also worth checking your email to see if Sony has sent free credit for a network issue on Christmas Eve.

The Khaos Reigns expansion pass grants one week early access to new characters.

If you don't have the Khaos Reigns expansion and want to add T-1000 to your roster, you can purchase the character individually from March 25.

Other guest fighters include Conan the Barbarian and Ghostface from the Scream franchise. That's on top of classic MK characters like Noob Saibot, Cyrax and Sektor.

Khaos Reigns also contains a brand new story expansion which continues on from the campaign in the base game.
