The news was announced by Capcom on X, alongside a preview about what to expect and some of the bugs that will be fixed.

"Heads up, hunters: an update is planned to go live on all platforms at 12am PST / 8am GMT on March 4th with fixes for issues with the Ingredient Center, Grill a Meal and story progression in Chapter 5-2 A World Turned Upside Down," reads a Capcom tweet.

"Once the update is out, any online sessions will be discontinued and you will need to update to continue playing online."

According to a companion tweet, the patch will address multiple progression blockers, which means you should be able to work through the story without issue.

According to Capcom, players will be removed from online sessions when the update drops, so make sure you're not in the middle of an important hunt.

Needless to say, players will be able to jump back in the moment the update is downloaded and installed.
