Every awards season, there are always big surprises and snubs when nominations are announced.

And one of the best films of 2024 has been totally snubbed at both the BAFTAs and Oscars.

Challengers is a critically acclaimed sports drama by director Luca Guadagnino.

The five-star film follows a love triangle between tennis stars played by Zendaya, Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist.

Set over 13 years and featuring an incredible score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, the film explores themes of love, control, ambition, and power.

Challengers was nominated for four Golden Globes including Best Picture (Musical or Comedy) and Best Actress (Musical or Comedy). Meanwhile, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross’ incredible soundtrack won Best Original Score.
