Now, Find My Past has polled 2000 British adults to discover the Top 10 most impactful War films of all time. Check out the list below, which includes three Steven Spielberg movies. 8. 1917 (2019)Sir Sam Mendes’ Oscar-winning classic follows two British soldiers on a mission during World War I to deliver a message to call off an attack the Germans were prepared for. Featuring cameos from stars like Mark Strong, Andrew Scott, Richard Madden, Colin Firth, and Benedict Cumberbatch, the movie was shot in a distinctly unique way. Acclaimed cinematographer Sir Roger Deakins filmed it in long takes to make the whole two-hour spectacle look like just two continuous shots.
