Fortnite fans are counting down to the release of the next major crossover skin, which combines characters from the world of Fortnite and Marvel. Indeed, the recently discovered Meowtooth skin and item bundle has a September 7 release date and a 1am BST launch time for fans living in the UK. (That's September 6 at 8pm ET for US fans.) The latest in the long-running partnership between Marvel and Epic Games gives popular Fortnite character Meowscles a new look inspired by Wolverine's nemesis Sabretooth. The skin will be available to purchase in the item shop individually, and as part of a bundle containing various other items.

As you can see from the tweet below (courtesy of insider Shiina), the standalone Meowtooth skin will cost 1,200 V-Bucks.

Fans will also be able to purchase the Meowtooth Back Bling for 400 V-Bucks, his Pickaxe for 800 V-Bucks and the Meowtooth Emote and Wrap for 500 V-bucks each.

Needless to say, it's cheaper to buy the whole lot as part of one big bundle, which costs 2,300 V-Bucks.

Meowtooth's Test Your Strength is particularly worth looking out for, as Meowtooth pulls out a hammer and takes part in the classic fairground attraction.

Another point worth noting is that purchasing the Meowtooth skin will also unlock the LEGO variant.

The Meowtooth bundle drops a few days after the release of the first major update of the current season.

New content includes the release of the season's bonus Doctor Doom skin and the accompanying challenges.

The Chapter 5, Season 4 super skins also joined the game, which is good news for anybody with a maxed out Battle Pass.
