Prince Harry and Meghan LIVE: Duke accused of 'hissy fit' | Royal | News

Prince Harry has been accused of having a "hissy fit" over his safety in the UK to make his father King Charles "look bad".

Last week, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their next unconventional Royal tour, setting their sights on Colombia, a country known for its significant security challenges. This follows their recent visit to Nigeria, another nation with a high-risk profile.

Prince Harry's decision to visit Colombia comes despite his previous statements about the dangers of returning to Britain without armed police protection.

Harry has expressed that he would not bring his wife, Meghan, and their children back to the UK, citing safety concerns due to the lack of a gun guard from the police.

This stance has raised eyebrows, especially given his willingness to visit countries with higher security risks like Nigeria and now Colombia.

Speaking on Talk, Royal commentator, Kinsey Schofield suggested that Harry's insistence on police protection in the UK might be more about making a statement against his father, King Charles, than genuine safety concerns.

She said: "I think just this is further proof that this is all a hissy fit that Prince Harry is pitching because he wants to make his father look like the bad guy."
