Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's multi-million-pound deal with Netflix will come to an end in September, with royal fans urging the popular streaming service to not backtrack on the decision. The couple signed a five-year deal with Netflix in 2020, just months after stepping down as senior working royals.

During the past few years, the couple has released four major projects for Netflix - including their highly controversial docuseries, 'Harry & Meghan' in 2022 and Meghan's cooking and lifestyle series, 'With Love, Meghan' earlier this year. The deal is set to be terminated later this year, The Sun has reported. Speaking about the deal, a source told the publication: "There’s no animosity from either side. Things have just run their course."

In a poll conducted by the Express, readers were asked whether Netflix should renew their deal with the Sussexes.

The poll, which ran between 2.15pm on July 23 and 4.30pm on July 24, saw 3,162 readers vote either 'yes' or 'no'.

Of all the voters, 3,190 [98%] shared that they don't think Netflix should renew the deal, whilst just 53 [%] shared that they think the deal should be renewed in September.

Taking to the comment section, one fan expressed how they felt about the Β£78 million [$100m], they wrote: "Not sure what Netflix expected from Harry and her but they have been made to look a fool. $100 million for almost nothing, and what they did get was substandard..."

A second commented: "Should Netflix renew the contract? Clearly "No", you do not want to throw good money after bad..."

Another, all in captial letters, added: "I DON'T CARE ONE LITTLE BIT ABOUT THESE TWO!"

The couple stepped down from royal duties, shortly before moving to the US with their son Archie in 2020. The couple have since welcomed a daughter named Lilibet.
