Jannik Sinner's coach Simone Vagnozzi has provided an update on the elbow injury the Italian has been dealing with at Wimbledon.
During his fourth-round match against Grigor Dimitrov, he slipped in the opening game and required treatment after hurting his elbow.
Pressed for an update ahead of today's final, Vagnozzi said: "We’re managing it. It’s getting better every day.
“When you’re on the court, during the match, it’s not even easy to understand what’s happening.
"Then we did an MRI and several tests. He’s managing it well and is focusing on what he can do."
When asked if Sinner was taking painkillers, Vagnozzi replied: "I’d rather not go into details."
