Trying to keep your home as clean as possible isn't always an easy task. There are certain things that seem to constantly be a mess no matter how often you clean them, with windows, mirrors and other reflective surfaces being massive culprits. 

This is because grubby fingerprints or dust particles are so much more visible in these areas, making it extremely difficult to keep them clean. However, one lifestyle guru on social media has the answer, and it lies in a simple spray you can make from just three ingredients you've probably got at home. TikToker Anna Louisa At Home hailed it as 'wizardry' for banishing fingerprints, making your home look so much cleaner. 

She tested out the hack in a video and was amazed at the results. Writing in the caption, she said: "I had seen this hack floating around but only just tried it today and I wish I had sooner! My home is covered in little fingerprints so I tested it on lots of different surfaces and I can confirm it works.

"Surfaces I tried were: windows, glass panels, mirrors, the oven door and the hob."

The 'magic' spray is so simple to make, and works all over the home to ward off fingerprints, dust and dirt. Here's how you can make it at home. 

How to make DIY cleaning spray 

First, you'll need to grab an empty spray bottle, and fill it with the following: 

• One tbsp white vinegar
• One tbsp rinse aid
• One tbsp washing up liquid 
• 1/2 cup warm water

Give the bottle a good shake to ensure all the ingredients are combined. Then, simply spray it around any areas of your home that you often see fingerprints or dust, such as the hob, mirrors and windows. 

Showing off how impressive it was, Anna then pressed her hand on to the freshly cleaned surface - and not one single fingerprint could be seen afterwards. 

However, before you go around spraying this all over your home, Anna issued a warning. She said: "White vinegar is not recommended for surfaces such as marble, granite, quartz.

"Always check whether the ingredients are safe to use on the surface you would like to try."
