Nintendo Switch 2 launch LIVE: Stock alerts, midnight launches, guides and impressions | Gaming | Entertainment

The Nintendo Switch 2 launch line-up contains a boatload of third-party ports, alongside a handful of first-party exclusives.

In terms of exclusives, the headline new game is Mario Kart World. The new Mario Kart features a huge open-world for players to explore with dozens of traditional courses for players to discover. It also contains new online modes, such as the 24-person Knockout Tour, which sees four racers get eliminated after every checkpoint.

Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour is a cheap and cheerful tech demo, showcasing some of the new features available with the Switch 2.

Then there are Switch 2 upgrades of OG Switch games such as Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. These paid upgrades come with improved visuals and performance, as well as extras such as a companion app with interactive map.

Third-party games include heavy-hitters such as Cyberpunk 2077, Street Fighter 6 and Split Fiction.

That's on top of a brand new survival game for younger players, as Survival Kids makes its debut on June 5.

There's even something for retro gaming fans, with Ridge Racer getting a Switch 2 port as part of the Arcade Archives series.
