Meghan Markle is set to make a major appearance next week at a glitzy gala in Los Angeles, according to reports. The Duchess of Sussex will be honoured at the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County next Saturday, June 14, during the Night of Wonder gala, according to People magazine.

Meghan will be honoured for her work in "championing women and underserved communities". The glitzy event will imitate "an enchanted garden at night" with immersive exhibits, live music, and dinner served, while the full guest list will include people from across LA's cultural and philanthropic communities, who are expected to attend. Lori Bettison-Varga, President and Director of the museum, told the magazine: "Night of Wonder celebrates and supports the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County’s commitment to science, nature, and community.

"We are proud to honour Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, a native Angeleno, whose work to advance community wellbeing and expand opportunity, especially for underserved communities, aligns with our equity-focused approach to developing science literacy for the next generation, including through our STEM and STEAM Pathways programmes."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have settled in Montecito, California, after quitting the Royal Family in 2020.

Despite living in Montecito, the Sussexes have regularly been spotted at neighbouring Los Angeles.

Earlier this year, they were among several celebrities who volunteered after the devastating California wildfires.

The Duchess herself has attended various events and awards in LA, while according to the magazine, the Sussex couple are known for aking stops at In-N-Out Burger during their commutes.

It comes as the Duchess made a major announcement tonight about her As Ever brand.

Meghan announced on the brand's official Instagram account that, despite the latest claims of not restocking her sold-out products, some of them will be coming back in stock this month.

She announced that she will be launching new products too.
