How to remove weeds with baking soda

The gardening experts also suggest spraying "a little water on top" of the baking soda to help the natural weed killer stick to the intrusive plant. 

This baking soda and water solution should be left on the weeds "for a few days" so that the plant completely wilts and browns. Then, to help prevent further regrowth, they need to be removed with either a hand fork or a patio cleaning brush.
