Royal Family LIVE: Prince Harry ‘weary’ of plummeting reputation after string of blunders | Royal | News

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary last week, are said to be keen to rehabilitate their reputations. Prince Harry, 40, is said to have been growing increasingly weary of the negative publicity he and Meghan have attracted, particularly in the UK, where he has been fighting several legal cases over his privacy and security - reports the Daily Mail.

The outlet reveals Harry and Meghan have now created their own "royal" household in a bid to manage reputation. The couple have revamped the structure of their staff to make it more like a hierarchical system. The Daily Mail reports "The new operation will be run separately to Archewell, the Sussexes' philanthropic foundation, with the duke and duchess each having their own chief of staff.

It comes as Prince Harry conducted a bombshell interview with the BBC in America following his failed court bid to reinstate his UK security, claiming the decision was a "good old-fashioned establishment stitch-up".

In a rare move for Buckingham Palace, the establishment issued a blunt statement in response: "All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion reached on each occasion."

The duke also told the BBC that he is not currently on talking terms with King Charles and does not know how long he has left and he said the King "won't speak" to him because of "this security stuff".

Meanwhile, as Meghan Markle's brand, As Ever, prepares to launch new products alongside its range of jams and teas following its criticised rebrand, it is understood Prince Harry will focus on his charities and endeavours such as the Invictus Games. A source said: "Harry is unkindly described as the 'spare' to Meghan's endeavours. In reality, he [Prince Harry] has been giving her [Meghan Markle] the space to flourish. Now it is his time to throw himself into exciting new work. Invictus will always come first, but he has also been working on commercial ideas of his own."
