F1 LIVE: Norris tipped for new team-mate as Ferrari reveal Hamilton's three complaints | F1 | Sport

Lando Norris has been tipped to welcome either Sebastian Vettel or Nico Rosberg to his camp as an advisor as he searches for an edge to get the better of McLaren colleague Oscar Piastri.

Norris has fallen 16 points adrift of Drivers’ Championship leader Piastri and hasn’t won a race since the season-opener in Australia.

Racing driver Timo Glock was asked whether a link up with Vettel or Rosberg could be an option for Norris during an appearance on the Backstage Boxengasse Podcast.

And he explained: “It can certainly help if you have someone with Formula 1 experience.

“But in the end, you’re sitting alone in the car and making decisions. I always have the feeling that even though you have to make decisions in milliseconds at the start of a race or in certain situations, he still thinks about it in his head for too long and doesn’t decide instinctively from his gut what to do.

“I don’t know, he’s a bit lost with himself. But yes, there is the possibility if you have someone, as I said, an ex-racer who has been through a similar situation, it is always good to talk to them on or between races. That might be an option.”
