Fried eggs cook 'perfectly' and taste great if you cook with one thing

A cooking expert shared a simple hack to make fried eggs "perfect every time". The cookbook author, who has gained a 207,000-strong following on TikTok for sharing easy and low-calorie recipes, doesn't use any oil and instead relies on an unexpected ingredient to make the staple dish.

Lindsay, aka the @fakeawayqueen, said this technique has "never failed me", having used the hack for years and shared it multiple times on her page. She urged others to "stop using oil", even if they are not following a health plan because these eggs "just taste way better".

Lindsay revealed the secret ingredient in an instructional video, where she cracked the egg in the pan, removed any shell, and then added a splash of cold water instead of oil.

She explained water helps make the eggs cook quickly and makes them taste "way better".

"Pop a lid on the pan and it literally takes less than a minute until this egg comes out looking like an emoji," she added.

She urged viewers: "If you're not making your eggs like this, just stop what you're doing and get on the trend!"

One viewer responded: "My eggs were perfect, thanks Lindsay!"

"After watching the 1st time you posted it, it's the only way I do my eggs now!" another gushed.
