Ruth Langsford shares £45 skincare duo ideal for plumping skin

Ruth Langsford caused a stir when she shared her nighttime skincare routine and fans were all saying the same thing when she showed a step-by-step guide. The 65-year-old started using the Nip+Fab Jelly Eye Patches a while back and was keen to try out more from Rodial's sister brand.

Sharing on Instagram, she was seen taking off her makeup before reaching for a Peptide and Ceramide Duo to prep her overnight moisture routine, saying: "I'm using Nip+Fab and this is their Ceramide Fix Overnight Cream 12%, and this is great for all skin types but particularly for mature skin. Mature as we say, so my 65-year-old face is definitely feeling mature and it needs hydration, and this is fantastic for that, feels really luxurious and creamy."

The Nip+Fab Ceramide Fix Overnight Cream 12% is currently 20% off at Boots and is priced at £23.96. Combined with prebiotic biolin and azelaic acid to help support elastin production and restore skin's natural balance, the cream is proven to improve skin firmness and elasticity in four weeks.

Ruth applied a few dots on her face and she continued: "This is going to help plump your skin, it's going to help rebalance your skin and it's great for fine lines and it just feels lovely. No smell, I don't like very fragranced face cream, particularly at night. So that feels lovely and don't forget your neck, can feel that hydrating already. That cream has really soaked into my skin."

Similarly Medik8's Advanced Night Restore Cream is multi-ceramide cream that supports skin's defence against environmental damage. Cult Beauty has 20% off so customers can buy this product for £47.20.

Fans of Ruth took to the comments section underneath her post to ask if she had forgotten to remove her eye makeup, she replied: "I have a tattooed eyeline and my eyelids are sadly naturally red. I had it done last year."

The Loose Women panellist then continued with her skincare routine: "And then I'm going in with the Nip+Fab Peptide Fix Finishing Oil. Peptide is a very clever thing and this has got copper peptides, which actually makes this serum blue. So you take your little pipette and do two, three drops. You see how that's blue?

"And if we just warm that up and just going to pat that over [my face]. Oh it's lovely and it's not oily or greasy, so that soaks in and that's going to really even your skin tone. It's going to plump your skin and that is just the finishing touch. Again, down the neck and time for sleep. You won't recognise me in the morning."

The Nip+Fab Peptide Fix Finishing Oil 2% is now reduced to £23.95 on the official website, but fans can save more and get both products at £44.95 instead. The duo seems to work a treat on Ruth but one shopper said: "The products definitely make your skin feel very soft after using but not seeing as changes to the appearance as yet."

A second added: "My skin didn't like the oil, shame as it felt nice on. I will give it another try and hopefully I will see the benefits." Alternatively, shoppers can try Pai Skincare's The Light Fantastic Face Oil for £44. It's organic and vegan-friendly.
