Meghan Markle shares Easter 'surprise' in new video | Royal | News

Meghan Markle has taken to social media to share an Easter "surprise" with a video. The Duchess of Sussex posted the footage on Instagram on Easter Sunday and wished her followers a holiday "full of love".

The video shows Meghan, who is wearing a white sleeveless shirt dress, standing by as a number of ducklings cross a path. She looks on in amazement as a number of the ducklings adorably follow their mother.

The post is captioned: "Wishing you a Happy Easter full of love.... and surprises." The song Choo Choo Ch'Boogie by Louis Jordan is playing in the background.

She previously posted on Instagram showing her in the kitchen preparing Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day themed goodies for her family. She made red bagels and strawberries cut into heart shapes for Valentines' Day, as well as green waffles and a green drink on St Patrick's Day.

It comes as a royal expert accused Meghan of making the same "schoolboy error" over and over again. She was accused by an author of plagiarism following the axing of her proposed kids' TV show.

The Netflix show Pearl was announced in July 2021 before being axed less than a year later. Now, writer and illustrator Mel Elliott, has claimed there was a possible infringement of copyright in relation to her own character Pearl Power.

Royal author Phil Dampier told The Sun: "It's yet another example of how the people around her (Meghan) don't seem to have done their research before she comes out with projects.

"And there's nothing worse than being accused of plagiarism or of copying other people's work." He added that "these are just schoolboy errors" and proper "due diligence" is not being done."
