UK weather maps show exact day temperatures soar back to 17C next week | Weather | News

Britain is set to enjoy a welcome warm-up next week, with weather maps predicting temperatures climbing back to 17°C by Tuesday, April 29. A sharp contrast to the mixed and wet conditions expected this weekend.

According to the latest GFS weather model run from WXCharts, areas including London, Southampton, and parts of the Midlands are forecast to bask in temperatures of up to 17°C. This return to springlike warmth will bring a much-needed break from the unsettled Easter weekend weather.

The rise in temperature comes after a run of mixed spring weather.

The UK forecast from Friday, April 18 to Tuesday, April 22 outlines a largely unsettled picture according to the Met Office. Rain and strong winds are expected across southern and western regions to end the week, with heavy downpours possible.

Saturday will remain cloudy, with rain slowly easing in the west and a cooler feel developing, especially in the east.

The outlook for Sunday through Tuesday continues in the same pattern, with further spells of rain expected, particularly in western areas, though there will be some brighter intervals.

Temperatures during this period are forecast to stay close to seasonal averages.

While not quite a heatwave, these temperatures will feel considerably warmer compared to the damp and blustery weekend many will experience.

It also signals a hopeful shift toward more stable spring weather as May approaches.

For those planning outdoor activities or recovering from the wet Easter festivities, this burst of warmer weather will be a perfect opportunity to get outside, whether it’s a walk in the park, tending to the garden, or simply soaking up the sun.
