Masters 2025 tee times UK on day one as McIlroy and Scheffler get underway | Golf | Sport

The 2025 Masters gets underway today with most of the biggest names in golf teeing up at Augusta National. World No.1 Scottie Scheffler enters the tournament as the defending champion, but he won't be without stiff competition. Scheffler ended the 2024 edition with an impressive 11-under-par, a clear four shots ahead of his competitors. This marked his second victory at Augusta, with the American golfer securing his first career major when he emerged victorious in 2022.

Rory McIlroy was hot on his heels during the 2022 edition. The Northern Irishman is eagerly awaiting a Masters win to complete a career Grand Slam, and recently bagged the 28th PGA title of his career after winning a play-off against JJ Spaun at the Players Championship in March.
