Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders live at Currys but you need to visit the store in person | Gaming | Entertainment![]() "Head in-store to pre-order the new Nintendo Switch 2 and get it on June 5," reads a post on the Currys website. You can use the website's store locator to check where your nearest Currys shop can be found. It's also worth calling your closest store to check if pre-order stock is sold out before making the journey. If you don't have any luck at Currys, then you can always request and invite from Amazon. Simply visit the Switch 2 page on the Amazon website, request and invite, and wait for an email confirming whether or not you can pre-order from the retailer. While Argos is sold out at the time of writing, there's a good chance more stock will be available in the coming days and weeks, so you may want to keep checking the Argos website. As a reminder, the Switch 2 comes in two different editions. There's the standard version with no games for £395.99, or a bundle containing the Switch 2 and Mario Kart World for £429.99. The Nintendo Switch 2 release date was announced during a recent Direct conference, alongside a boatload of new games. The new Nintendo console will launch on June 5, alongside games like Mario Kart World, Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour, Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition, Fortnite, and Hogwarts Legacy. Additional first and third-party games will be available in the weeks and months after launch, including Donkey Kong Bananza on July 17 and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond later in the year. Nintendo will also release enhanced versions of existing Switch games, including upgraded editions of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. The Switch 2 Enhanced games will feature improved visuals, smoother frame-rates and in some cases, new content. Source link Posted: 2025-04-04 20:48:59 |
