Forget vacuums, Shark just announced something cool is coming to the UK![]() Shark might be famed for its dust-busting vacuum cleaners, but the US technology giant is finally bringing another cool product to UK stores. The company has just announced that its all-new FlexBreeze HydroGo fan can now be picked up on this side of the pond, and it should be perfect for the hot summer days that hopefully lie ahead. This smart device not only helps keep the temperature down in your home but is also fully battery-powered, so it can be taken into the garden or easily moved from room to room. Another bonus is its integrated misting system, which blows out a fine layer of water that can reduce the heat by up to two degrees. Shark says this cooling mist instantly evaporates, so you won't be left with a wet face or soggy shirt. Other extras include 12 hours of cordless run time, a UV-rated design that prevents its coloured casing from fading and there are five different fan speeds for all conditions. Shark has confirmed its FlexBreeze HydroGo is available from today and costs £129.99. "With the FlexBreeze HydroGo, Shark is changing the game in portable cooling. It is a powerful, cordless misting fan designed for both indoor and outdoor use," Shark said in email sent to Express.co.uk. It's not just Shark hoping to stop us all feeling hot under the collar. Dyson has recently confirmed the launch of its new Purifier Cool PC1, which helps regulate room temperatures and filter the air at the same time. It can even monitor conditions in real time and react automatically to capture pollutants that you won't know you are breathing in. Dyson says it will rid rooms of things such as dust, pet dander, bacteria and mould. It's an important thing to try and fix. The 2023 Dyson Global Dust Study found that 53 percent of households have someone affected by allergies, yet only 33 percent were aware that pollen can reside in household dust, and just 32 percent knew about the presence of dust mite faeces, both common allergy triggers. Pet allergens are also an increasing concern. While pet fur is visible, it’s the microscopic proteins in their fur, saliva, urine, and faeces that trigger most allergic reactions. Even hypoallergenic pets still produce dander, which disperses throughout the home, affecting air quality and potentially triggering allergies. The Dyson Purifier Cool PC1 should help fix some of these problems but you will need a pretty hefty bank balance to own one. It's priced at a £449.99 from Dyson's online store.
