Ovens get clean with no scrubbing using 1 time-saving method![]() Oven grease will melt away when one simple method is used, and it will save you from the annoying and difficult scrubbing. Ovens are perhaps one of the most difficult parts of your kitchen to clean, These appliances can build up quite a lot of dirt and grime that can be difficult to remove, especially if you haven't cleaned it in a long period of time. Many people spend way too long on their hands and knees scrubbing for dear life when they could just use this simple trick recommended by experts. To get your oven clean, all you need is vinegar and water. There is no need to go to the shop and buy a specific solution for your ovens. Instead, simply boil water with white vinegar to clean your oven. Steam is a great way to loosen the grime in your oven, and it is even more effective when mixed with white vinegar. Los Angeles-based interior designer John Linden shared this tip with Real Simple, explaining that it makes it "much easier" to wipe away grime using a cloth. The method is simple. All you need to do is boil a pot of water on the stove. Once it has started boiling, you can add as much vinegar as there is water to make the solution a 50/50 mix. Allow that to boil for only around 30 seconds. You then remove it from the stove and allow it to sit in the oven for between 45 and 60 minutes, Linden says. Ensure the oven door is closed during this time to allow the steam to loosen the grime so it wipes away easily once the hour has passed. "Wipe the surface down with a soapy cloth," the expert says. "The grime comes off much more easily than it would if you simply tried to scrub it." A similar method using lemon juice is also effective. Place the juice of two lemons in a pan with water and place it into an oven that has been heating to 250C. Just like with the white vinegar trick, the grime in your oven will be easily wiped away after doing this, as it will have been loosened. Experts have recommended a whole range of hacks for cleaning your own. One of them, explained by Sophie Franklin, is using a dishwasher tablet. She says: "Dip a dishwasher tablet in some warm water so it’s just moist, then use it to scrub your oven—from the interior to the door. To clean oven racks or trays, soak them in hot water with dissolved dishwasher tablets." Source link Posted: 2025-04-02 19:15:01 |
