Canada's Brad Jacobs has his first loss of the BKT World Men's Curling Championship in Moose Jaw, Sask.

He dropped a 6-5 decision on Tuesday to Scotland's Bruce Mouat at the Temple Gardens Centre.

Canada's Jacobs falls to Scotland's Mouat for 1st loss at men's curling worlds

Brad Jacobs and his Calgary-based rink loses 6-5 in an extra end to Scotland's Bruce Mouat at the world men's curling championship in Moose Jaw, Sask. Scotland improves to 4-0 and is the only remaining undefeated team while Canada falls to 3-1.

Mouat made a hit in the extra end for the victory.

Scotland is in first place at 4-0 while Canada sits at 3-1 after seven sessions.

Jacobs will have two-game days for the rest of the round-robin portion of the competition.

The top six teams from the 13-team field will qualify for the weekend playoffs.
