According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Canadian safety has agreed to a three-year, $45.3-million US contract with the New York Giants. The deal includes $30.3 million guaranteed and has a maximum value of $46.8 million.

Holland joins the Giants after spending four seasons with the Miami Dolphins, who selected the native of Coquitlam, B.C., in the second round, No. 36 overall, in the 2021 NFL draft out of Oregon.

The six-foot-one, 205-pound Holland started 57 of 60 regular-season games with Miami, registering 301 tackles (nine for loss), 25 pass knock-downs, five interceptions, five sacks, five forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.

The Giants have bolstered their secondary in free agency, adding Holland and cornerback Paulson Adebo.
