Meghan Markle on cosy Saturday mornings with Harry, Archie and Lilibet | Royal | News

Meghan Markle has revealed how she enjoys spending Saturday mornings at her Montecito mansion with Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Since the release of her new Netflix series “With Love, Meghan” last week, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, has sat down for a handful of interviews where she has revealed details of her life in California.

Since quitting royal duty in the UK in 2020, Meghan and Prince Harry, 40, have remained quiet about their personal lives, making these revelations all the more exciting for royal fans. During an interview with Godmothers bookstore, run by her two close friends Jennifer Rudolph Walsh and Victoria Jackson, Meghan was asked what brought her lots of joy. The duchess was asked to list three "pet joys" in the interview, resulting in a new revelation into the family’s Montecito life.

When answering this question, Meghan said that her and Prince Harry’s children Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, sometimes join the couple in bed on a Saturday morning to watch cartoons.

She said: "Saturday morning cartoons in bed is also high on my list.

"In the UK, they call it a 'duvet day' and I’ve always found that sweet.

"Our little family, snuggled up for an easy family morning followed by pancakes and bacon. The dream."

The revelation comes after Meghan previously revealed last week in an interview with People that her children love "surprise" pancakes for breakfast.

The duchess said she puts different toppings into and on top of the pancakes, which excites Archie and Lilibet.

She told People: "They don’t know what’s going to be on the other side when it flips over."
