Urgent hunt for man who 'tried to snatch girl, 6, from pub' | UK | News

Police have issued an urgent appeal for information to help track down a man, following the attempted abduction of a 6-year old-girl last month.

The youngster had been enjoying a day out with her father on February 1, when a man walked into the St Bernard’s Grange Pub on Barrows Lane, Birmingham, at some point between 7pm and 8pm and persuaded the little girl to leave with him.

Thankfully, he was challenged by the little girl’s father and left the pub alone a short time later, leaving the girl unharmed.

Since the worrying incident, West Midlands Police have issued an appeal for information to track down the man, who was described as being in his 30s, around 6ft2-3ins, and wearing a black beanie and a black jacket.

The force also issued CCTV images of the man they are keen to speak to, and have urged the public to get in touch if they have any information that could help with their enquiries.

Anyone with information is asked to get in touch via 101 quoting 20/132039/25.
