Royal Family LIVE: Harry makes veiled swipe at Trump as tensions soar | Royal | News

Prince Harry appeared to take another subtle swipe at Donald Trump - just hours after King Charles extended an "unprecedented" invitation to the US President.

During a surprise appearance at the Upfront Summit in Los Angeles, the 40-year-old took the stage to deliver a speech - where he stated that he had something important to share with the attendees.

Whilst discussing how he has continued to work "through the lens of service" across the past five years - since stepping down from royal duties and moving to the US - Harry then commented on the "detrimental effect" experienced by billions when "basic morals and empathy are abandoned in favor of power and control."

In an apparent subtle swipe at President Trump, Harry said: "Now this would be a great time to talk about how a sickness in leadership across sectors-from politics to tech-can have a detrimental effect on millions, if not billions, of people. When service to others is sacrificed for personal gain.

"When basic morals and empathy are abandoned in favor of power and control. But I'm not gonna get into all that now!"
