Video footage has emerged showing the last known movements of British businessman Campbell Scott before his mysterious disappearance in Kenya. The 58-year-old from Dunfermline, Fife, was captured on camera walking through a car park, donning a blue top adorned with the Scotland flag on the shoulder and casual shorts.

In the last CCTV sighting of the businessman before he disappeared, Scott is seen carrying several items in his hand, his glasses perched atop his head.

The crucial image was taken just moments before he went missing in Nairobi on Sunday, February 16. Scott had been attending a conference at the JW Marriott hotel as a senior director for the credit scoring company FICO, alongside his colleagues, who reported him missing.

Tragically, as reported earlier today, Scott's body was found wrapped in a "sack" within the dense Makongo forest, some 60 miles from Nairobi, on Saturday. Two individuals—a taxi driver and a nightclub waiter—have reportedly been arrested in connection to his death.

FICO, where Scott had been employed since 2014, expressed their profound grief over the incident. The firm said in a statement: "FICO can confirm that Nairobi police have identified the body of Campbell Scott, a FICO employee. Campbell went missing last Sunday while on a business trip to Nairobi. We are not sharing further details, as the investigation is in the hands of the police.

"We are devastated by this tragic news. Campbell was a leader in our international Scores business. He joined FICO in 2014 and was instrumental in introducing Scores to new markets and growing our business with existing partnerships. We mourn his passing and will miss his humour and kindness. Our thoughts are with Campbell's family and friends."

It is believed that Mr Scott had been to several pubs and clubs the day before his disappearance. Reports from local media suggest he was in good spirits while socialising with staff at the hotel where he was staying.

The businessman left his hotel at 11.15am that Sunday, and the Mirror has reported that his colleagues believed he was going for a walk to shake off jet lag before their presentation at the business conference. However, he did not return and attempts to ring his phone at 6pm and 7pm failed.

UK Embassy officials and police investigators in Nairobi travelled to Makueni on Monday, following the reports of a gruesome discovery in the nearby forests by local herders who found a body in a green sack on Saturday. The Foreign Office previously commented: "We are supporting the family of a British man reported missing in Kenya and are in contact with the local authorities."
