Delta Air Lines plane crash LIVE: Jet flips upside down at Toronto Pearson airport | World | News




A plane has crashed upside onto an airport runway before erupting into flames in Canada, one child and two adults - a man and woman in their 60s - are critically injured, according to CTV News. 

A Delta Air Lines flight travelling from Minneapolis, USA, was reportedly involved in an incident "upon landing" at Canada's Toronto Pearson International Airport.

As many as 80 people were on board the jet, with at least eight people are reportedly injured, paramedics reportedly told local publicationn CP24.

Dramatic pictures and video show the jet surrounded by smoke lying upside down. It comes as multiple weather warnings were in place for 70mph winds.

A spokesperson for Toronto Pearson said: "Toronto Pearson is aware of an incident upon landing involving a Delta Airlines plane arriving from Minneapolis. Emergency teams are responding. All passengers and crew are accounted for."
