Argos shoppers race to get ultimate Galaxy Watch upgrade using simple code

If you love all things Android and fancy a smartwatch strapped to your wrist you won't find much better than Samsung's Galaxy Watch range. This series of tech timepieces offer fitness tracking, health alerts and easy ways to check messages without reaching for a phone. There are a number of Samsung wearables to choose from but if you want the best of the best then the Galaxy Watch Ultra may have caught your eye.

This device features a tough titanium design, improved durability, 100-hour battery life, night mode, a quick button for fast access to favourite features, and even an in-built alarm to attract attention.

It's a decent device, but all those features come at a cost. The Watch Ultra will set you back a whopping £599 if you head to Samsung's own store. If that sounds too much for your wallet, there's better news: Argos is currently offering money off in its Big Red sale event.

As long as you know the unique RED20 code, you'll instantly get 20 percent off at the checkout.

That knocks a whopping £119.80 off the cost.

The offer is clearly proving popular with Argos saying that "it's demand" and "selling fast". That's not really surprising as even Amazon can't beat this deal from Argos.

Along with the Ultra, Argos also has 20 percent off the Galaxt Watch6 and latest Galaxy Watch7 devices which start from £289 before the money off. Again, just use the RED20 code to drop the cost.

Of course, if you own an iPhone, you can also get a more rugged wearable on your wrist thanks to the Apple Watch Ultra 2.

This device launched late last year and offers longer battery life, a tough titanium shell, brighter screen and bonus features such as inbuilt alarm and unique Action Button which launches features with one tap.

The Apple Watch Ultra is more expensive that the Galaxy Watch Ultra - expect to pay around £799 to own one.
