How to buy Razorlight tickets for UK tour this year | Music | Entertainment

Razorlight have continued to be one of the most popular rock bands around, and they've just confirmed some exciting news.

The English band, who are best known for such tracks as America, In The Morning, Somewhere Else, and countless others, are going on tour across the UK this April, and well into May.

The band recently released their latest album, Planet Nowhere, to critical acclaim, and now they're keen to tour it extensively. On the journey, they'll be playing such cities as London, Norwich, Liverpool, Nottingham, Glasgow, and plenty more.

Tickets for these shows are going to be released at the end of the week - but there's hope for fans who want to get in a little earlier.

Some of the upcoming gigs have presale events kicking off before then, and we've got all the information you need below.

Razorlight presale tickets will be released from Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 9am.

These tickets are being sold by O2 Priority, and will be exclusively available to fans who have subscriptions to the O2 mobile phone network.

At the time of writing, however, only some of the upcoming dates has O2 Priority presale access; this includes shows in Birmingham and Liverpool.

After that, official, general onsale will begin.

Speaking out excitedly about the upcoming tour, Razorlight's frontman Johnny Borrell said: "I've been playing live music for 30 years and I've seen so many great bands in my life. Music saved my life a million times and still does."

He went on to condemn newer artists playing gigs to soundboards with no live music.

"Right now," he went on. "I reckon about 90 percent of the time in rock music, the musicians on stage are playing along to a backing track. A generation of young bands are coming-of-age in a time where doing this is the norm and I'm trying to highlight that musicians playing live without the click or backing track is in danger of becoming a lost art.

"There's a world of identity, interaction and creativity that comes when you get off the musical grid. I believe it's part of what gives each band its own unique sound."
