Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order - Another retailer gives fans chance to bag Switch 2 at launch | Gaming | EntertainmentThe Nintendo Switch 2 release date, price and pre-order information will be officially revealed during the upcoming Nintendo Direct conference on April 2. This means fans face an agonising wait to find out whether they'll be able to get their hands on the new Nintendo console at launch. Fortunately, however, one UK retailer is giving customers a much better chance of securing a Nintendo Switch 2 console when it releases this summer. Currys is giving customers the ability to register their interest in the Switch 2, which means they'll be the first to know when pre-orders go live in full. Think of it like a pre-pre-order. If you want to be first in line to put money down on a Nintendo Switch 2, then visit the Currys website to register interest. Customers will need to input their name, email address and phone number to register, before accepting the terms and conditions. Currys will contact you with updates and full pre-order information when it goes live. UK retailer ShopTo has also opened up pre-orders, letting customers put a penny down to get to the front of the line. Indeed, thousands of fans have expressed an interest in the device so far, which is being limited to one per customer. As you can see from the video above, the Nintendo Switch 2 is larger than the current model, featuring a bigger screen and JoyCons. The JoyCons will reportedly utilise technology to eliminate stick drift, as well as magnets for connecting to the display. Judging by the trailer, the JoyCons can also be used like a mouse, meaning PC-style games should work better on the Switch 2. The kickstand is also more flexible, giving users more viewing angles when playing in handheld mode. It looks like Mario Kart 9 is also in development, and based on the trailer, should support 24-person races in single and multiplayer. Source link Posted: 2025-02-02 02:42:11 |
