Give your broken old phone to Samsung and get the Galaxy S25 at a surprising price

Samsung has only just announced the launch of its new Galaxy S25 smartphone but it's already offering some seriously tempting offers. Firstly, there's the option to get double storage for free which means, for example, you'll pay the same price for the 256GB variant as the smaller 128GB model. If that wasn't eye-catching enough there is more good news with the Korean technology giant now also giving customers a whopping £200 off when they trade in any old Galaxy phone.

The best part about this incentive is, the device doesn't even need to be working and Samung doesn't mind if it arrives with a broken screen or flat battery.

"Guaranteed £200 off when you trade in any Galaxy smartphone in any condition, broken or cracked," the company said on its website. With that discount applied, you could bag yourself a new Galaxy S25 with 256GB of storage for just £599. Once these pre-order deals end that cost will jump back up to £859 so there's a £250 saving to be made by buying now.

Samsung is also offering more money off if you have a working device in your pocket. Those with an S24 will get over £340 off via trade-in deals, or there's more than £600 off when handing over an S24 Ultra.

These pre-order discounts are available across the entire range of S25 range of phones including the standard model, bigger S25+ and ultimate S25 Ultra which features a new design, improved camera and S Pen tucked inside its titanium shell.

This trio of call makers now come packed with the faster and more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip inside which offers some serious performance gains along with improved efficiency for longer battery life.

They also include more advanced Galaxy AI which offers upgrades such as a "Now Brief" and "Now Bar" for quick access to useful information such as weather, calendar and football scores.

You can also find photos or adjust settings using just your voice and there's improved Google features with "Circle to Search" not only showing what something is but also the best and cheapest places to buy it.

There's even a smart new AI Select option which can scan things such as football or airline tickets and automatically add the event to your diary or show you how to get there via your maps app.

Google's very clever Gemini is also built-in with this personal assistant, offering help, advice and fast ways to find things on the web.
