Ruben Amorim damages TV in Manchester United dressing room in angry criticism of players | Football | Sport

Ruben Amorim reportedly damaged a big screen television in the Manchester United dressing room after their 3-1 defeat to Brighton on Sunday.

The Portuguese was left furious with their lacklustre performance as the Red Devils fell to a sixth home defeat this season and gave his underperforming stars a major dressing down.

The 39-year-old's verbal tirade was matched by his physical frustration as he lashed out and damaged a TV screen during his fiery post-match team-talk.

In a report from The Athletic, sources 'with knowledge of the incident' are cited claiming that a TV used to display tactics before the game was caught in the crossfire of Amorim's fury and 'will require fixing'.

United's next fixture comes against Rangers at Old Trafford on Thursday, giving the club ample time to fix the damage.

But it speaks to the concerning lack of harmony at the club, with United still languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League table in 13th.
