A section of M11 has been closed after a car and van collided between J7A & J7 in Chelmsford causing a delay of around 60 minutes, the authorities have said. The National Highways said that the incident has led to a congestion of around three miles. It said: "The M11 in Essex is closed southbound between J7A (Harlow) and J7 (Chelmsford) due to a collision involving a van and car. "Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and National Highways Traffic Officers are at scene. "If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time.
