Roy Keane lashed out at Ian Wright for his reaction to Arsenal's 2-0 victory over Manchester United during The Overlap's live watch-along last night. The United great couldn't bite his tongue as Wright revelled in the Gunners' win at the Emirates Stadium, telling his co-podcaster to "show some class."

Ruben Amorim set the visitors up astutely as a compact game plan successfully frustrated the hosts - heavy favourites - in the first half.

But Arsenal's potency from set-pieces prevailed after the interval as two corners created Jurrien Timber and William Saliba's decisive goals.

United dropped down to 11th in the Premier League in defeat, having lost as many games as they've won this season (five).

As stoppage time played out in north London, Wright praised Arsenal for how they dealt with a lowly team as he struggled to keep a straight face after the cheeky dig.

"I think what we've done is we've been very patient with a mid-table team that's come and been very frustrating," Wright laughed as he aimed the jab at Gary Neville and Keane.

"They've really frustrated us, and we just had to get it done with the set pieces. I know it must be..."

Keane failed to restrain himself, interrupting: "Can I ask you, what age are you? You're a grandfather."

Wright hit back: "I'm a football fan. What's that got to do with anything?"

Keane continued, talking over the Arsenal icon: "Sitting there going 'oh mid-table', being childish, show some class, show some class, show some class."

Wright added: "No, I'm watching my team win. What do you mean show some class? It's got nothing to do with class.

Keane responded: "It is. Saying a mid-table team that come and defend."

Wright then directed the fire towards Carragher, who had entertained with animated celebrations to tease Neville throughout the stream.

He said: "Was Jamie showing class just now?"

Keane doubled down: "Absolutely not. Absolutely not."

Wright continued to twist the knife, telling Carragher: "You know what it is? When United... you can only go to a certain amount of... the United boys go quiet.

Neville chimed in with a jab at the ex-Liverpool defender: "We weren't expecting class, though, from him, to be honest with you. There was no expectation of class."

Wright then made his point clear, concluding: "What I'm saying is where are you in the league? That's what I'm saying.

"And all I'm saying is we've seen you off because we had to deal with the defensive side of what you were doing and keep going."
