They are called the Sonos Ace, and since they arrived back in the summer, they have quickly become my go-to cans when at home or on the move.

Firstly, they sound very good thanks to a custom-designed 40mm dynamic driver in each ear cup and some pretty impressive Active Noice Cancellation (ANC) which blocks out almost all background sound around you.

They also feature a ludicrously long battery life, fold neatly into their protective case and are supremely comfortable to wear. You also get the neat TV Swap function which instantly switches the audio from your Sonos soundbar to the Ace headphones. That means you can enjoy a late-action movie without disturbing anyone in the house.

Other bonus extras include rapid charging, dynamic head tracking, wear detection and aware mode which lets some sound in so you don't miss your flight being called.

As you can read in our full review there's lots to like and little to loathe. Our only real gripe was the high price but Black Friday has just solved that costly issue.
