Princess Charlotte's sweet bond with cousin Mia Tindall showcased on major event | Royal | NewsMia Tindall and Princess Charlotte are first cousins once removed, but their dynamic is more akin to sisters. Both have grown up in the warm embrace of the Royal Family, often seen together at family events and celebrations. Mia, as the granddaughter of Princess Anne and daughter of Zara Tindall, enjoys a more private life within her family, free from the formal royal titles that often accompany her cousins. Meanwhile, Charlotte is growing up in the public eye, and is in line to the throne after her elder brother, Prince George. Last Christmas, in 2023, the two were seen side by side during the Royal Family's Christmas Day walkabout, to attend a special service at Magdalene Church in Sandringham. The young cousins were caught in one sweet moment as Charlotte, 9, allowed Mia, 10, to accept flowers intended for her from somebody in the crowd. In a considerate gesture, Mia turned towards Charlotte to seek approval before she approached the public and accepted the flowers. It appears Charlotte smiled at her cousin before saying: "You can get them for me." A video catching the exchange has been circulating on social media on TikTok, with fans rushing to comment on the relationship between Charlotte and Mia. One fan wrote: "Charlotte and Mia are so cute the way she said you can get it, Mia was so happy." Another commented: "I love the Royal Family, the children are so mature and well-mannered." A third said: "I hated how nobody gave flowers to little Mia, but the family saw that, and made sure she was included, just made me sooo happy! They are immensely all close!" Mia, also melted hearts as she held hands with Prince Louis during the Christmas walk. Mia was born on January 17, 2014, at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in Gloucestershire, England and she is followed by her siblings Lena and Lucas. The trio do not have royal titles because of a decision made by their grandmother, Princess Anne. She chose not to give her children Peter and Zara royal titles or HRH status. As a result, their children are not eligible for the titles. Anne said she chose not to bestow titles as it meant they would not become working royals and were free from royal obligations. Zara has previously said she felt "lucky" that she didn’t receive royal titles as it gave her and her brother fresh opportunities. The close relationship between Mia and Charlotte is said to reflect the family values instilled by their parents. Zara and Mike Tindall, known for their down-to-earth parenting style, and Prince William and Kate, who prioritise providing a normal childhood for their children, have created an environment where the cousins can thrive together.
