LIV Golf's five top earners as Talor Gooch leads prize money charts with eye-watering fee | Golf | Sport

Some of the world's top players have been raking in huge amounts of money since ditching the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf. The lucrative salaries and incredible prizes on offer have attracted many of the game's leading figures over the last three years.

The likes of Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka are some of the highest-profile players on the tour and have earned far more money than most. However, there is a different name at the top of the leaderboard when it comes to all-time winnings.

Express Sport takes a look at LIV Golf's five biggest earners since the league's inaugural season in 2022, according to Spotrac...

Talor Gooch - £45,645,695

The player with the highest earnings over the last three years is Talor Gooch, who topped the individual standings in 2023. He was rewarded with a bonus of around £13,887,817, helping him to surpass some bigger names on his way up the money list.

Gooch has been one LIV Golf's most consistent performers since joining the league, winning three individual events in addition to last year's title. As a result, he stands alone as the player with the highest total earnings across every season.

Dustin Johnson - £40,772,885

Johnson won the individual title at the end of LIV Golf's first season and picked up the £13,887,817 bonus as a welcome reward for his efforts. His total earnings in 2022 amounted to a staggering £27,467,016 and he has made even more money since then.

The 40-year-old is one of just two players to have earned over £40m since joining the league and will be hoping to catch up to Gooch over the coming years.

Cameron Smith - £31,389,425

Third on the all-time list is Smith, who is certainly not regretting his decision to leave the PGA Tour and defect to LIV Golf. He captained Ripper GC to victory in this year's team championship, earning a share of the £10,801,635 collective bonus.

Smith also pocketed £6,172,363 for finishing second in the individual standings last year, helping him to round off the top three when it comes to the highest earners.

Brooks Koepka - £30,935,980

Koepka's impressive earnings over the last three years have left him just behind Smith on the overall leaderboard at the end of 2024. He scooped a bonus of £3,086,181 as a result of finishing third in the individual points list two years ago.

This year, the 34-year-old won two individual events to boost his prize money total by another £8,975,476. As one of the world's best golfers, he will have his sights set on adding more millions to his bank account next season.

Joaquin Niemann - £30,820,836

Rounding off the top five is Niemann, who is just ahead of this year's individual champion Jon Rahm on the overall money list. The man from Chile finished second on points in 2024, which saw him receive a lucrative bonus of £6,172,363.

His team, Torque GC, claimed four wins last year and Niemann secured individual triumphs in Mayakoba and Jeddah this year to take his prize money total above the £30m mark.
