Meghan Markle torn apart by ex-Vanity Fair editor with four-word dig | Royal | News

Meghan Markle has been issued a scathing four-word remark by the former editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair, who slammed the Duchess for her poor judgement.

Tina Brown accused Meghan for "getting it all wrong" after previously calling her and Prince Harry's exit from the Royal Family a "disaster" and accusing them of being "addicted to drama".

During an appearance on The Ankler podcast with Janice Win, Brown went after the former working royal once again, saying she has the worst judgement "in the entire world".

She said: "The trouble with Meghan is that she has the worst judgment of anyone in the entire world. She’s flawless about getting it all wrong. All of her ideas are total crap, unfortunately."

Brown, who was also Princess Diana's biographer and author of The Palace Papers: Inside The House Of Windsor - The Truth And The Turmoil, claimed Prince Harry "blindly" goes along with all of Meghan's ideas.

She added: "[Harry is] the lamb to the slaughter in this situation. And he just sort of blindly followed her like a child, really."

In 2022, Brown called the Duke a "very impetuous man" and claimed many Palace advisors "always thought he would leave".

She said: "He was so fragile, so combustible, he was so unhappy, frankly, in the constraints of the Royal Family."

In her newly released Substack titled Fresh Hell, Brown said she would "unload my observations, rants, news obsessions, and human exchanges with the wildly eclectic cast of characters who populate my seething inbox".

This comes as an expert claimed Meghan has a "weapon in her back pocket" for seeking "revenge" on the Royal Family in the future.

BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond said the Duchess has the option of an expose book. She told OK!: "It's been more than two years since she gave that interview, and she has steered clear of controversy about the Royal Family since.

"Obviously, the journal she mentioned will remain a potential weapon in her back pocket if she ever feels the need to seek some sort of revenge. But she has behaved with discretion and dignity ever since Oprah and the documentary series.

She added: "I think she is looking forwards, not backwards and is moving on with her life. So I don't think we should be raising false alarms about any potential memoir."
