‘I taste tested supermarket chocolate and the best one costs £4.50'

We are nearly at the end of National Chocolate Week (October 16-22) but it doesn't mean we still can't enjoy the sweet stuff. As a nation of chocolate lovers shoppers can't help but a chocolate bar every now and then.

The week, which many people would have guessed, celebrates all things to do with chocolate.

For those who are fans of the confectionary, there are plenty of choices in terms of flavours and brands.

We got to taste test some of the best chocolates on the market all ranging from 95p to £9.50. Even better the products tested are all easily available to buy from supermarkets or online.

We then ranked each item out of 10 to determine the winner. One item clearly stood out in the taste test costing just under £4.50.
