Nigel Farage mocks Labour in brutal new video on 'Free Gear Keir' | Politics | News

Nigel Farage and Reform UK have aired a scathing, AI-generated party political broadcast as they continue their brutal criticism of Labour and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

The broadcast, aired on terrestrial television this evening, saw a spoof film trailer titled "Labour’s Britain" featuring sections of society they feel Labour has let down during their time in office.

According to the trailer, the forthcoming film would feature: "Shivering grandparents with no winter fuel allowance, free clothing, glasses, accommodation, tickets, illegal migrants and trade unions."

The broadcast then introduced a cast which was predictably made up of Labour cabinet members, including “Free Gear Keir”, an insult being heavily pushed by the party in light of the recent controversy over the Prime Minister’s acceptance of gifts.

The broadcast culminated in party leader Nigel Farage berating Labour for having "no genuine feeling for this country".

Mr Farage said: "It is all true, they have taken away the fuel allowance from 10 million pensioners.

"It is true, they have taken suits, glasses, football tickets, despite saying that they would be a government that would clean things up.

"And it is true that immigration, both legal and illegal, is totally out of control.”

Whilst party political broadcasts are an age-old technique, this is the first one in the UK to be produced by AI.

The party claimed "the blockbuster nearly didn’t make it to air" whilst Reform MP Lee Anderson described it as the broadcast that "they didn’t want you to see".

Neither party gave any additional information.

The video caused a mixed reaction on social media. One user commented: "I voted Reform but this ad is cringe. American voice, cheap AI art."

However, another proclaimed: "Reform UK’s latest Party Political Broadcast brought a breath of fresh air to politics. It’s bold, entertaining, and exactly what’s needed right now."

The advert concludes with Mr Farage labelling his party as "the new politics" before urging viewers to join.
