Kastelli International Airport is set to open on Crete in 2027, replacing the current Nikos Kazantzakis International Airport which opened back in 1937. The new airport will initially be able to welcome up to 10 million passengers with a maximum capacity of 18 million. There will also be a five-storey passenger hub and shopping area. New Bodø Airport, NorwayNorway is replacing Bodø Airport in the north of the country with the new £546 million New Bodø Airport. Along with a 25,000sqm terminal, a huge runway right by the water will be built. Bodø is a gateway to parts of the country that are popular for seeing the Northern Lights, as well as close to the beautiful Lofoten Islands. Tbilisi International Airport, GeorgiaA new £993million airport in Georgia is set to replace the current international airport in Tbilisi. It is hoped the airport will open by 2028, opening up one of Europe's most underrated cities to more tourists.
