The Guardian’s popular This is how we do it column invites couples around the world to share the naked truth about their intimate lives. In this episode, we hear from three of the couples who have been featured in the column.

“Every week, I track down a couple and I ask them to speak to me about their sex life, anonymously,” Guardian writer Kitty Drake tells Helen Pidd. “Crucially, separately, because the idea behind the column is to get two sides of the story of someone’s romantic life and exactly what they do in bed.

“I do want to interview people who are having really kinky sex, but I also want to interview people who are having vanilla sex, because I think that probably is more representative of what most people are doing.”
