Aaron Taylor-Johnson remains the bookies’ hot favourite to be the next James Bond, as rumours continue to stir.

And as fans eagerly await official news, the 34-year-old’s latest action movie has its brand new trailer released today.

Showing off what the physical side of his Bond would be like, Taylor-Johnson stars in Sony’s latest Spider-Man villain solo movie, Kraven the Hunter.

The film co-stars Russell Crowe, Ariana DeBose with the new footage introducing Alessandro Nivola’s Rhino, another adversary of the Web Slinger.

The official synopsis reads: "Kraven the Hunter is the visceral, action-packed origin story of how and why one of Marvel's most iconic villains came to be. Aaron Taylor-Johnson plays Kraven, a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless father, Nikolai Kravinoff (Russell Crowe), starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared."

Kraven the Hunter hits cinemas in December.
