Optical illusion shows if you're 'confident' or 'cautious' | Weird | News

Optical illusions can reveal aspects of our personalities that we might try to conceal from others - and provide insight into how our minds function.

For them to be effective, you need to clear your mind and stick with your initial reaction to the image - typically answering "What do you see first?"

Now in a TikTok video posted by @picpsy, viewers were asked to share whether they first spot a rabbit or duck when presented with an image.

The clip continues to explain what it signifies depending on which animal you perceive, with the narrator declaring: "First seeing a rabbit personality inclination - proactive. You are a vibrant, sunny, and straightforward person.

"This confidence and optimism have won you many friends. You easily stand out in a crowd because you possess a charm that draws people to you. When faced with challenges, you always approach them with a positive attitude."

The video suggests those who first see a rabbit rarely feel intimidated by others, and possess strong social skills in both personal and professional environments. It states these personality types make for "excellent" team leaders.

For those who first spot a duck, the video indicated: "You are always cautious when making decisions and are reluctant to take risks. When faced with the unknown or novel situations, you tend to adopt a wait-and-see approach, only taking action when you feel safe or confident."

When it comes to team settings, the video claims these personality types are often the ones who listen to others' opinions before giving their own.

It added: "This personality trait makes you very steady when handling complex problems as you always consider all possibilities and make the best decisions.

"You prefer a stable pace in life believing that what is meant to be, will be, so you rarely take the initiative to change that status quo and tend to go with the flow."

Commenting on the clip, one user said: "Very accurate."

Another user added: "Duck. That is pretty much me." A third user said: "I see a fish?"
