You can be a star baker with this GBBO experience running in September

The Big Chesire Bake Off is giving fans of the Great British Bake Off the chance to take over the baking tent, with immersive experiences being held this September.

Millington Hall Farm is opening up its Wild Meadow marquee for a few September weekends, with visitors given the opportunity to take part in their own bake-off.

The three-hour experience costs £90 per person, with the costs including a welcome glass of fizz, canapé snacks, tea & coffee and all the ingredients you’ll need for the competition.

The farm also tries to source all the ingredients from within a ten-mile radius of their location, so you'll be cooking up a storm while also supporting local independent businesses.

The event begins with a meet-and-greet, where you'll be introduced to your tutors for the day (who will also serve as judges - sadly Paul Hollywood will not be judging your bakes), and anyone else who is booked onto the session.

Following this you will take part in a bake along where an expert tutor will take you through a step-by-step recipe for a classic bake - so don't worry if you're not quite a professional-level baker yet.

After completing the bake-along, your tutor will take a step back for the next bake, and just like on the show itself you will have a recipe to follow, trying your best to complete the task in one hour.

Next comes the decorating challenge, giving you the chance to decorate your delicious bakes. After this, both the guided and challenge bakes will be judged with one participant coming out on top.

After which you'll have time to mingle with your fellow bakers while enjoying some of your baking creations.

For more information and to book onto the Big Chesire Bake-Off then head to the Millington Hall Farm website.
